Day 1
Depart Christchurch at 8.15 am to experience what is known as one of the top scenic rail journeys of the world. Cross the Southern Alps and join your coach in Greymouth. Time in Hokitika to see the jade carvers. On arrival in Fox Glacier, a shuttle will take you to the observation point for views of the terminal face.
Day 2
Travel through the lush green scenery of the Haast Pass to the year-round alpine resort of Queenstown.
Day 3
Full morning at leisure to explore Queenstown before catching the late coach to Christchurch, arriving at 9.00 pm. Weather permitting there would be time to fly to Milford Sound (not included).
