Day 1
Depart Auckland at 8.15 am. At the Waitomo caves, descend through the limestone caves and drift silently in a boat underneath a canopy of glowworms, then travel on to Rotorua. This evening enjoy hangi food cooked the traditional way in an underground oven and be entertained by Maori song and dance.
Day 2
Highlights of your half-day tour include the Agrodome sheep show – entertaining and informative - the trout, wild animals and native birds at Paradise Valley Springs, Te Puia thermal reserve and the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute.

Day 3
Travel from Rotorua to Lake Taupo, where the highlights of your sightseeing tour include the Huka Falls, Craters of the Moon, Aratiatia Rapids and the Wairakei geothermal borefield.
Day 4
Your tour concludes on arrival in Wellington, the capital city, at 4.35 pm.
Suggestion: Extend this tour in Wellington and then travel on to Auckland or Christchurch.
