Waimangu Round Trip

The Waimangu Round Trip is a full-day tour of Rotorua that explains the 1886 eruption of Mount Tarawera, the subsequent creation of the Waimangu Volcanic Valley, and the impact of this major event on Rotorua's social, cultural, geological and natural history. The tour includes three hikes/walks, plus two cruises, and all related bus transportation.
